ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I feel like most adults' lives are severely lacking in silliness, playfulness, and imagination. My stories are for those who need a break from a society that constantly pushes them to work, produce, spend, and optimize.

If I had to guess, I’d say my absurd, whimsical brand of humor is rooted in my childhood, a good portion of which was spent reading Roald Dahl and L. Frank Baum or watching The Simpsons. As I got older, I came to appreciate the comedy of Jerry Seinfeld, David Letterman, Norm Macdonald, and Conan O’Brien (no relation), whose echoes can be heard in my work.

I’m currently working on my debut novel called Dubble or Nothing. It's about a professional gambler named Ace Dubble, who wagers everything he owns that he can help a hopeless dog-mouthed loser find a wife. It's turning out pretty good so far, and I'm excited to share it when it's ready.
